Shinie Antony

Shinie Antony is a writer, editor and columnist. Her books include The Girl Who Couldn't Love (Speaking Tiger), When Mira Went Forth and Multiplied (Rupa), A Kingdom for his Love (Amar Chitra Katha), Barefoot and Pregnant (Rupa). Anthologies include Boo (Penguin), Why We Don’t Talk (Rupa), An Unsuitable Woman (Rupa). 

Co-founder of the Bangalore Literature Festival and director of the Bengaluru Poetry Festival, her story A Dog’s Death won the Commonwealth Short Story Asia prize in 2002. Her novel Can't (Speaking Tiger) will be out this year.
