Dr. Manisha Singh

Dr Manisha Singh is an academician, author and researcher with over two decades of experience in management education, research and industry engagement. Currently serving as Deputy Director – Corporate Relations at ICFAI Business School (IBS), Bengaluru, she has previously held academic leadership positions, including Dean and Academic Coordinator.
With a PhD in Finance from Banaras Hindu University, Dr Singh is a gold medallist and National Scholarship recipient in her UG and PG programs. Her academic interests span financial management, accounting, business law, FinTech and contemporary developments in management education.
An accomplished case writer and author, she co-authored Cost Accounting – Text, Problems and Cases, published by McGraw Hill in 2019–20. Her contributions to case writing have received national and international recognition, including the Best Young Case Writer Award from Economic Times Cases in 2016 and the Best Emerging Market Case Award from Emerald Publishing in 2017. She has also authored and presented several research papers and case studies at national and international conferences. Recently, she has co-authored another book on Accounting for Managers published with IUP in October 2026.
Her interest in making management education relevant to emerging business practices is reflected in her work in curriculum design, development of academic resources and industry-oriented learning. She was instrumental in developing and launching a course on FinTech in 2018 and continues to work towards integrating contemporary business developments and industry perspectives into management education.
Dr. Singh has received several recognitions for her contributions to teaching and academic engagement. In 2024, she was recognised as the Third Best Engaged Academic in the Asia-Pacific Region at the Triple E Awards organised by the Accreditation Council for Entrepreneurial and Engaged Universities (ACEEU), Germany. She has also received multiple Best Teacher Awards, including recognition for Exceptional Teaching by IFHE Bengaluru in 2025.
Through her work as an educator, author and corporate relations professional, she continues to contribute to bridging academic knowledge and business practice, with a particular interest in making management concepts accessible, relevant and applicable to real-world challenges.
