Lokesh Venkataswamy

Lokesh Venkataswamy is the CEO and Managing Director of Innomantra Consulting and a Senior Fellow at The Conference Board. He is an adjunct and visiting professor of Business Innovation and Management, and lectures regularly at the Indian Institutes of Technology, the Indian Institute of Science and several Indian Institutes of Management.

His work focuses on innovation management, design thinking, intellectual property and generative AI. He is co-author of the Harvard Business Review cover article “How Generative AI Can Augment Human Creativity” (July–August 2023) and of the book The Generative Organization: AI Playbook for Exponential Leaders. He has advised Fortune 500 companies across aviation, automotive, manufacturing, technology and consumer goods.

Before joining Innomantra, he spent over 12 years at Larsen & Toubro in medical product design and later led innovation, IP and M&A in strategic planning. He is a mechanical engineer, an MBA in marketing and a postgraduate diploma in intellectual property law from the National Law School of India University.
