Dr. Nupur Pavan Bang

Dr. Nupur Pavan Bang is the co-author of The Economy Is Personal (Westland Business, 2026, with Anisha Sircar), a book about how big economic forces, from inflation and interest rates to jobs and taxes, shape the money in our pockets, and what we can do about it. She is a Fellow of the ACCA, UK, with a PhD in Finance and a Post-Doc fellowship from ISB.

Her writing on money markets and the econom has appeared in the Financial Times, The Economic Times, Mint, Forbes and Fortune India. AIWMI named her among India's Top 100 Women in Finance in 2020. She lives in Hyderabad and feels deeply about financial literacy and women empowerment through financial inclusion.
