Amar Deshpande

Amar Deshpande (aka Amar Vyas) is a podcaster and author. An alumnus of IIM Ahmedabad and the University of Illinois-USA, he is a corporate professional-turned-entrepreneur. He runs MyKitaab, India’s first podcast on book publishing and marketing. Together with his wife, he runs ‘gaatha story’, a podcast production and marketing start-up whose shows have received over 1.5 million listens till date. Apart from being the author of the Amol Dixit series of books, Amar writes on topics related to entrepreneurship, travel, podcasting, open source and sustainability.

At BBLF, Amar will speak about how authors can use emerging technologies to connect with readers and grow the market - not only for English, but also for vernacular content.
