Aravind Chinchure holds a PhD in Physics, and has an experience spanning 25 years in R&D, innovation, intellectual property, entrepreneurship, policy and teaching. He is a Founder & CEO of QLeap Academy (http://qleap.in) focused on creating 21st century professionals and leaders in the areas of Industry 4.0 and Innovation. He served as a Chair Professor of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the Symbiosis International University, Pune, India. He is credited with designing and implementing India’s first two-year MBA course on Innovation and Entrepreneurship, at the Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (SIBM), Pune.
Aravind has worked previously in academic and industrial research organizations including Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (Mumbai), Kammerlingh Onnes Laboratory (Leiden, Netherlands), General Electric Global Research Centre (Bangalore), Honeywell Technology Solutions (Bangalore), and Reliance Innovation Leadership Centre (Pune). He is recipient of research fellowships from the European Union, Dutch Academy of Sciences, Max-Planck Institute, Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR) and Department of Science & Technology.
